C. Ernst Harth got his first taste of acting in grade school when the drama club cast the school's largest child to play Santa in their Christmas pageant. He was just in kindergarten at the time.

Prior to landing his first professional gig in a TV commercial for the BC Chicken Growers in 1990, Harth toured the semi-pro wrestling circuit in Canada's small towns and provinces as The Bible Thumper, adorned in black robes with a cross shaved on his head.

In 1994, he made his American acting debut as Giant in Green Dolphin Beat (1994), an Aaron Spelling-produced TV movie for FOX. Since then, Ernst has become a busy character actor known for dozens of roles, such as The Great Child in Thir13en Ghosts (2001), Miner 49er in Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed (2004), Lowell Lee Andrews in Capote (2005), and most recently as Baby Boy Tremor in Smokin' Aces 2: Assassins' Ball (2010). Other notable appearances have been ALMOST HUMAN, ONCE UPON A TIME, SUPERNATURAL, THE X-FILES, MILLENIUM, DREAMCATCHER , REAPER, SMALLVILLE, THE A-TEAM, FRINGE, FIRST WAVE, HARSH REALM, THE OUTER LIMITS, STEPHEN KING’S DEAD ZONE, THE MUPPETS WIZARD OF OZ, THE COLLECTOR, THE 4400 & PSYCHED.
